Everest Base camp Trek:

Trekking in Nepal is one of the best adventures in the world. Trekking in the Everest region will provide you with a golden opportunity to see Mount Everest with your very own eyes. Nepal is a unique country. It has 8 out of the 14 mountain peaks in the World which are more than 8,000 meters!

It is also famous for its unmatched beauty and cultural heritage. Mt. Everest has become a matter of challenge for all who enjoy trekking and climbing. They always keep their cameras ready to capture the virgin beauty of the mountain peaks while they enjoy trekking and climbing in this region. They not only get new experiences but also become familiar with countless varieties of Himalayan flora and fauna.

There are a number of ways for approaching this region. The first and original route is from Jiri but nowadays direct flight is also available from Kathmandu to Lukla (28, 00 meters). We can get wonderful views of the creation of nature while flying.

From Lukla the further you go, the more captivated you will be with the natural charm. Snow capped peaks and stones engraved with Buddhist texts will touch your heart. The glacier fed aqua blue water of Dudha Koshi and Bhotekoshi along with their tributaries add to the natural colours all the way to Namche Bazaar .

Main attractions of this area are historical Tangboche Monastery, snow filled Gokyo lake and Everest base camp. Trekkers can choose from many simple and welcoming guest houses run by local people in Tibetan style. You can experience staying in these remote areas with some of the bravest people of the world.

Treks range from one week to one month according to your preference. It is advised to take rest for a few days on the way as going up directly can cause acclimatization problem.

Itinerary:

Day to Day Itinerary (Trek 13 days)

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu Airport (1350m.) , pick up then transfer to the Hotel.

Day 2: Full day sightseeing tour in Kathmandu valley.

Trek start

Day 3: Fly to Lukla then trek to Fakding (2610m.), gradual down & ups,4hrs.

Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m.) , gradual & steep ups, 6 hrs.

Day 5: Trek to Tyangboche (3860m.), gradual up, down & steep up.

Day 6: Trek to Dingboche (4360m.), gradual down & ups, 6 hrs.

Day 7: Rest day for acclimatization

Day 8: Trek to Lobuche (4940m.), gradual & steep up 5 hrs.

Day 9: Trek to Gorakshep (5147m.) , steep up , 3-4 hrs.

Day 10: Trek to Lobuche (4940m.), steep ups to Kalapathar , Everest Base Camp then down.

Day 11: Trek to Pangboche(3989m.)steep down & gradual ups ,6 hrs.

Day 12: Trek to Kyangjuma (3500m.), gradual ups & downs,6-7 hrs.

Day 13: Trek to Phakding (2610m.) , steep down & gradual

Day 14: Trek to Lukla (), gradual up , 3- 4 hrs.

Day 15: Flight to Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel , evening farewell dinner in Nepali restaurant .

Day 18: Fly out own destination or extra activities (visit pokhara & jungle safari recommended.).
